Step 1: Become a Knight

The Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men 18 years or older in union with the Holy See.  If you aspire to live in accord with the precepts of the Catholic Church and are a member in good standing, but not yet a Knight, JOIN US regardless of where you live.  Why join?  SEE THE MANY BENEFITS!

We hold exemplifications (initiations) on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at St. Mary’s Church located at 5 Hillhouse Ave New Haven, CT where the order was founded in 1882. The exemplifications last between 30-45 minutes & family members are invited to witness you take this journey

We also perform exemplifications (initiations) within the various parishes that are in our Assembly (Madison, CT, Guilford, CT, North Branford CT, Northford CT, East Haven, CT, New Haven, CT & Orange, CT)

Step 2: Become “Sir Knight” – Step Up to the Fourth Degree

For existing Knights of the First, Second, or Third Degree, congratulations on the journey you have chosen!  We look forward to seeing you grow as you strengthen your union with the world’s largest Catholic fraternal benefit society, with more than 1.9 million members in over a dozen countries.

See the Worthy Grand Knight of your local council to inquire about stepping up your game and becoming “Sir Knight”.  We’re here when you’re ready to serve and grow – even more than you ever thought you could.  Make a difference.  Step up to the Fourth Degree!
